A solid cover of the Billy Strings iconic bluegrass song, Dust in a Baggie. CKB sped it up and re-arranged it to fit their unique style, with vocal stretches and intricate mandolin, guitar, and banjo solos. 

Copper Kettle Band — Released March 25, 2023

Copper Kettle Band’s debut self-titled album is a pleasant mix of original songs and covers of public domain masterpieces. The album is dynamic, including traditional bluegrass, waltz, folk, and even jazz elements. With 8 perfected tracks, the band’s talent and meticulous attention to detail really shines through.

Written by our mandolin player, Brielle, this original has quickly become a bluegrass standard with driving banjo and astounding fiddle & mando solos.

This 1830s tune has been revamped with new original arrangement, a cooler tone, and light dreaminess.

Copper Kettle Band is a premiere bluegrass band based in Utah. Their latest releases include the self-titled album Copper Kettle Band, Daisy, an original fast-paced traditional bluegrass-style tune and Drowsy Sleeper, a re-invention of an 1830s folk song. Their debut album was released in March 2023. CKB keeps true to bluegrass origins, playing classics and originals with precision and artistry. The band includes fiddle, mandolin, guitar, banjo, upright bass, and percussion.

Formed in May 2022, Copper Kettle Band is comprised of 6 musicians who all played in an international touring group at Brigham Young University together. Collectively, the band has played in 12 different countries representing the United States in various folk festivals. The band includes the national fiddle champion, state guitar champion, and state banjo champion.
